According to the Cambridge Dictionary, traveling is defined as moving from one place to another, especially to perform or while working. The term Doula comes from the Greek word meaning a woman who serves. Doulas provide continuous, non-medical physical and emotional support, information, and advocacy for pregnant people and their partner before, during, and after childbirth. Newborn Care Specialists (NCS) provide expert, hands-on support for new parents, establishing healthy newborn care routines, education and reassurance for up to a year after birth.
Traveling Doula NCS encompasses all of the above and MORE!

About Cjaisey Williams
Private Service Professional | Certified Labor, Postpartum & Infant Care Doula | Newborn Care Specialist | Family Support Professional | Community Educator
With more than 25 years of experience supporting children, families, and households, Cjaisey Williams provides comprehensive private family support grounded in professionalism, thoughtful stewardship, and a deep commitment to creating collaborative care environments.
As a Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist, Cjaisey supports families through the transformative seasons surrounding pregnancy, postpartum recovery, newborn and sibling adjustment, and early childhood development through evidence-based education, individualized care, and comprehensive family support.
Her experience includes non-medical doula support, newborn care, childcare from newborn through high school, family assistance, household operations and property management, vendor coordination, domestic and international travel support, and special needs care and advocacy for parents and children.
Throughout her career, Cjaisey has provided trusted support within diverse family environments, including private residences, high-profile households, and ultra-high-net-worth family settings, as well as underserved and under-resourced communities. Her background includes supporting diverse family structures, caregiving dynamics, and evolving household needs, allowing her to bring discretion, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and individualized care to each professional relationship.
Cjaisey has extensive experience providing both short- and long-term private family support for client and principal families located throughout the United States, with domestic and international travel as needed. Her professional background includes short-term and long-term live-in and live-out roles, adapting seamlessly to changing schedules, locations, household dynamics, and family priorities.
She is open to discussing short-term contracts requiring flexible live-in availability when aligned with family needs, including Newborn Care Specialist relocation contracts supporting families through their child or children’s first year. When mutually beneficial, she is open to exploring a transition from short-term newborn care support into a long-term partnership as a ROTA nanny or full-time live-in weekend nanny.
For long-term opportunities, Cjaisey’s preferred arrangements include ROTA schedules and select full-time live-in weekend nanny roles. She values mutually respectful partnerships built around clear expectations, balanced scheduling, and defined care arrangements — including mutually agreed-upon ROTA extensions when principal travel needs require additional support, while maintaining appropriate time off for both the family and care professional. She believes sustainable private service partnerships are built through communication, professional boundaries, and shared respect for everyone’s time and responsibilities.
Beyond direct family care, Cjaisey brings extensive experience partnering with parents, household staff, family office staff, educators, vendors, and other professionals to create organized, respectful, and effective support systems. She understands that exceptional private service extends beyond completing responsibilities; it requires communication, discretion, accountability, collaboration, and thoughtful stewardship of the family’s home, resources, and relationships.
Cjaisey is passionate about elevating the private service profession through professional peer mentorship, community education, and speaking opportunities focused on career sustainability, caregiver collaboration, and excellence in family support. She will serve as a contributing speaker at The305Nanny Career Growth Workshop on Sunday, September 20, 2026, sharing insights with W-2 household and independent contractor family-support professionals on building sustainable careers and intentional partnerships within private service.
Through Traveling Doula NCS, Cjaisey’s mission is to provide exceptional care, thoughtful stewardship, and wholehearted support while helping families and caregivers establish collaborative partnerships that promote continuity of care, mutual respect, and long-term success.

- Approach & Requirements: All standard overnight care is provided as Resting Care, allowing the care provider to rest while remaining immediately available to respond to the infant(s) as needed.
- Minimum Booking Requirement for local contracts within a 30-minute radius: 6 consecutive hours per overnight shift scheduled a minimum of three nights per week, unless services are being provided as backup care.

- Approach & Requirements: Awake Care is available at a premium rate when requested in advance or when medically or developmentally appropriate, such as for infants requiring intensive support due to conditions including GERD or other special care needs.
- Live-In Requirement: Because Awake Care requires continuous overnight wakefulness, live-in accommodations are required for all client-requested Awake Care contracts.
- Live-Out Awake Care Policy: When ongoing Awake Care is medically necessary under a live-out arrangement, the care provider must be provided with a minimum of 4 consecutive hours of uninterrupted sleep in the client’s home immediately following the overnight shift to ensure safe, high-quality care.

- Rest Period: A minimum of 6 hours of protected rest is required during each 24-hour cycle and may be scheduled as one continuous period or split into two separate rest periods.
- Option #2: $1,560/per 24-hour period. Based on $65/hr for the entirety of the contract.
- Rest Period: In-real-time flexibility with rest periods based on family’s daily needs yet still prioritizing quality daily rest periods for caregiver.
- Awake Care: Additional surcharges apply when continuous overnight Awake Care is required.

Preferred Client Rebate (Private-Pay Contracts ONLY)
- Advance Payment Benefit: Clients who choose to pay their contract in full at the time of signing will receive a 3% Preferred Client Rebate, issued via Zelle during the final scheduled week of services as a token of appreciation for their advance commitment.
- Eligibility: The Preferred Client Rebate is contingent upon successful completion of the private-pay contract as originally agreed and does not apply to contracts that are canceled, terminated early, or materially modified prior to completion.
Postpartum Contract Lengths & Continuity
- Rate & Term Variables: Tailored rates and contract terms vary depending on several factors including location (local to one of my homebases; domestic or international relocation to client’s residence, vacation travel support, or multiple-state travel support for surrogacy or adoption contracts), live-in or live-out arrangements, singleton or multiples, last-minute backup coverage, temporary relocation agreements, and travel support during the contract.
- Local Contracts: 1-week minimum commitment for clients located within a 30-minute drive from my current home base.
- Short-Term Relocation: 4-week minimum commitment for all domestic travel, vacation support, or out-of-area temporary relocation agreements.
- Surrogacy & Adoption: Customized timelines and logistics apply for multi-state or international Surrogate/Adoption travel and transition-to-home support.
- Shift Restrictions: Enforced 18-hour maximum combination shift cap to maintain provider safety and alertness.
- Postpartum Continuity & Backups: Your contract secures my personal schedule. In the rare event of illness or an emergency where a backup Postpartum Doula or NCS is required, the backup provider will be paid directly by the client at their independent rate. You will never be billed by me for shifts covered by a backup.
Retainer, Payment & Contract Terms
Reimbursement & Third-Party Benefits
-
- Provider Approval Type: Clear confirmation of whether the program explicitly approves Traveling Doula NCS by name, OR if it generally approves any certified doula.
- Approved Services: Exactly which specific doula support services are covered for reimbursement.
- Documentation Rules: Whether a Superbill is required by your program.
- Medical Necessity: Confirmation if the program requires a Letter of Medical Necessity from your physician.
- Zero-Grace Period Late Payment Default & Automatic Termination: Because the Contractor blocks out their operational calendar exclusively for long-term relocation contracts, weekly cash-flow continuity is a condition of service delivery.
-
- Default Timeline: Invoices are due immediately upon receipt. If full payment is not received within twelve (12) hours of the digital timestamp of invoice receipt, the Client is in immediate default, and the Agreement automatically terminates.
-
- Acceleration of Contract Balance: Upon default and automatic termination, the Client becomes instantly legally responsible to pay 100% of the full remaining balance of the entire contract length within twelve (12) hours.
- Forfeiture Clause: Upon default, the Client automatically forfeits all amounts previously paid to the Contractor under the agreement. This includes the non-refundable retainer (tiered by booking trimester/program structure), all completed hours worked, travel fees, and food allowances. Contractor shall immediately vacate the premises, and return travel expenses remain fully billable to the Client.
- Early Termination by Client (Non-Default): If the Client terminates the Agreement early via written notice for any reason other than a documented breach of professional duty by the Contractor, the Client remains financially responsible for 100% of the remaining contract balance, alongside the immediate provision of return travel expenses.
Scope of Services Offered
Birth & Postpartum Doula
I will come alongside you with a compassionate, proactive, and non-judgmental approach, offering attentive support tailored to your individual needs, wishes, and concerns. Through active listening and evidence-based guidance, I provide practical, emotional, and educational support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey in a non-medical capacity.
I will proactively connect you with trusted virtual, local, in-person, and in-home resources and professional referrals as needed, ensuring you feel fully supported every step of the way. My goal is to help you feel centered, informed, confident, and empowered as you navigate your desired birth experience, any unexpected interventions, and your postpartum recovery and care goals with peace, dignity, and reassurance.
Newborn Care Specialist
As an amplified extension of your attentive eyes, ears, and heart, I provide tender, loving, and developmentally supportive care for your precious newborn(s). I thoughtfully observe, assess, document, communicate, and respond to your newborn’s evolving needs promptly and professionally while honoring your family’s individual preferences, values, and parenting style.
Through detailed shift notes, open communication, and an evidence-based approach to newborn care, I proactively educate, empower, and support you, your partner, and — when applicable — your onboarding long-term Nanny to help establish healthy routines, confidence, and continuity of care. My goal is to create a seamless, supportive transition both throughout our time together and in preparation for your family’s continued success and peace of mind after my departure.
Long-Term Placements
• Value Proposition: Compensation is commensurate with the scope and complexity of the role, including the level of discretion, emotional intelligence, professional expertise, and operational flexibility required to support a private family at the highest standard. It also reflects the demands of extensive domestic and international travel, seamless collaboration within a fully staffed household, and the delivery of exceptional, individualized childcare, developmental guidance, and coordinated care with fellow Nanny teammates across all stages of a child’s growth and development.
• Relocation & Testing: I am open to fly-in/fly-out arrangements, and I have a proven history of relocating nationwide to provide exceptional continuity of care and support to the families I serve. For the right long-term placement, I would welcome the opportunity to relocate near a principal’s primary residence following a successful trial period and mutual determination that the role is sustainable, aligned, and conducive to a lasting professional partnership.
