According to the Cambridge Dictionary, “traveling” is defined as “moving from one place to another, especially to perform or while working.” The term “Doula” comes from the Greek word meaning “a woman who serves.” Doulas provide continuous, non-medical physical and emotional support, information, and advocacy for pregnant people and their partner before, during, and after childbirth.
Newborn Care Specialists (NCS) provide expert, hands-on support for new parents, establishing healthy newborn care routines, education and reassurance for up to a year after birth.

Hello! My name is Cjaisey Williams – pronounced CHASSIS (ie: frame of a car). Like the meaning of my name, I am committed to being a STRONG, RELIABLE SUPPORT STRUCTURE for your growing family.
In my 25yr+ professional career, I’ve utilized my wide ranging skillset serving both under-resourced/served families to UHNW/HP Principals as a IHSS Provider, Special Needs Advocate, Nanny (newborns through high school), House & Property Manager, and Family Assistant all across the US with Global Entry travel support abroad.
Although I’m still open to serving an ideal Forever-Principal Family as their ROTA, FT Weekend, or Travel Nanny employee, my current focus is serving Client Families as a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist.
During this season of new growth and change, I will provide quality professional, unbiased, non-judgmental, nuanced, concierge-style care, evidence-based education, and empowering tangible support to help keep you and your partner fully present, grounded, at peace, unified in purpose, bonded with your baby, and thriving as a family. Service Descriptions
Birth & Postpartum Doula
I come alongside you, offering my active-listening, non-judgmental, proactive approach to assessing and addressing your personal needs, wishes, and concerns in a non-medical, practical, empathetic way. I will also proactively provide virtual, local in-person, and in-home support resources and referrals as needed. From start to finish, my desire is to see you centered, educated, and empowered to move triumphantly through your desired birth plan (as well as any necessary interventions) and postpartum care goals.
*Please verify if you or your partner has an employer-based benefit reimbursement program, HSA/FSA/HRA, or health insurance provider plan that covers certified Doula support services. If so, please include that info on your contact form.*
Newborn Care Specialist
As an amplified extension of your attentive eyes, ears, and heart, I will provide tender, loving care to your precious newborn(s). I observe, assess, take detailed notes, communicate and address newborn care needs promptly and professionally with respect to your wishes. I will proactively educate, empower, and support you, your partner, and if needed your onboarding long-term Nanny with my detailed shift notes and evidence-based care approach to your newborn'(s) routine for seamless hand-off and continuity of care.

For former Postpartum Doula, NCS Clients or for new Principals interested in hiring me as their family’s long-term, fulltime Nanny, I would be happy to discuss job duties and compensation packages for the following 12-24hr, live-in shift scenarios: ROTA, Weekend, or Travel Nanny.

PLEASE NOTE
In order to guarantee Doula and NCS services (including contract extensions), a 50% non-refundable retainer is due at contract signing which applies to the last half of the contract.
Sliding Scale rate for Doula and NCS services only offered to underserved/resourced clients and those with proven financial need.
Doula & NCS Rates
*Basic Birth Doula Package, $2,500*
Two, 2-Hr Prenatal Visits
2-Wk pre+post EDD on-call window
Labor & Delivery Support (backup doula for long labor)
One, 2-Hr Postpartum Visit to be scheduled within the first week after discharge
NOTE: $70 hourly charge for any add-ons that may include, but are not limited to: additional 2-hr/min or 15min-increment prorated longer Prenatal or Postpartum Visit(s); in-person advocate during medical appointments; freezer meal-prep; light household tasks; ASMR sessions; baby registry review; nursery setup consultation
*Postpartum Doula and NCS services range between $65-95hr+*
Factors that influence Doula and NCS rates and contract terms which may or may not include food and/or housing stipend; flights or mileage, tolls, ferry reimbursement to/from long distance, temporary relocation contracts:
Location (local to current homebase or domestic/international contracts)
Live-in or Live-out off shift
Travel support during contract
Schedule (4-Hr min/Day; 8-Hr min/Night; 18-Hr max/Combo Shift; limited 24-Hr at premium price)
Local Contract Length (1-Wk min through the end of the first year after birth; last-minute backup shift coverage)
Relocation Contract Length (4-Wk min through the end of the first year after birth)
Singleton or Multiples
Resting Care for ALL night shifts unless premium Awake Care is requested and agreed upon at contract signing, infant(s) require ongoing special needs care, and/or experiencing consistent high needs (ie: GERD) that require significant time being held upright at night
Shift duties vary during the day vs night shifts
Paying out of pocket or Client employer-based reimbursement benefit program, health insurance, HSA/FSA/HRA for Certified Birth & Postpartum Clients ONLY (not NCS)
